LMT of the Year
Gertrude L. Zukowski, Gert" was Christ led into the Loving Healing Art of Massage in 1991. At 83 years young Gert continues to maintain her practice and her Continuing Education.She is an avid promoter and has supported the FSMTA for the past 19 years.

Gert attributes The gift of her healing hands to God, allowing her to be an instrument. So that the True White Light of Christ can heal the pain in others. The Brevard Chapter FSMTA is honored to have Gert as a longstanding member

Outstanding Chapter Service
as a member, Keith Fitch joined the FSMTA in 2008. He wasted no time volunteering his services and being an instrumental part of this organization. In his first two years he has already worn many hats such as; Chapter Chef, Educator, Mentor, Organizer and Promoter.

Keith is a valuable member of the Brevard Chapter and we are proud to honor him with this award for his outstanding service.

We are proud to announce that we have a new membership chair Paula Panikowski. Paula has graciously volunteered to accept that position helping to free some time for Babs Didden our 2nd VP. Paula will be welcoming our new members as they join our wonderful Brevard Chapter of the FSMTA. Paula will also be greeting you at the front door when you attend our local chapter meetings along with Lucinda Dann who is our meetings reception chair.

We would also like to welcome back Sue Williams; Sue was instrumental in creating our original Ethics Chair position. Sue will be returning to that position joining John Adams who has been diligently working to promote and oversee ethics and professionalism in our industry throughout Brevard county. John recently attend the State Board meeting in an effort to share some of his findings.

Your Brevard board would like to offer a special Welcome to all of our new members and to those of you that have renewed your membership. Brevard is constantly moving forward in all arenas, We would also like to welcome Samantha Itri as Brevard Chapters new Sports Chair, Samantha will be responsible for heading up our sports team. She will be lining up and arranging massage therapy at any of our local sporting events. If you are interested in being on this team please contact Samantha.

Also a round of applause goes to our very own Election's Chair and Librarian Gerald Christopher; Gerald was appointed by the board to fill in as our Secretary until election renewal. We are coming to the end of our term so if any of you are interested in running for office or would enjoy being on a committee please let us know. We are very proud to say that our Brevard team is just that.. A team. Thank you to all of our wonderful members that are volunteering to make a difference
